A Deer-ly Special Moment at RPS! We had a very special visitor wander onto the high school side of our playground fence yesterday! Thank you, Game Warden Messbarger, for your quick response in safely guiding a deer visitor off our high school playground fence area this morning! Our kindergarteners were the best cheerleaders, giving the Warden a huge round of applause! The reaction was priceless. We truly have the best students at RPS! #WarriorActofKindness

We pause today to recognize the profound courage and commitment of all those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. To the veterans, active military members, and military families of the Rochester School District and beyond—thank you for your service!
As a reminder, all RSD schools and district offices are closed today.
We encourage everyone to take a moment to honor a veteran today.

Warrior Staff and Students Show Their Love!
What an incredible outpouring of support for Hunter, one of our second-grade students who is recovering from a major medical procedure this summer.
Our students, coordinated by Mrs. Benner, created a mountain of thoughtful cards, notes, and pictures for Hunter during library time. Our principals were able to deliver all of the well wishes, including a special "We Miss You!" poster.
Hunter's mom shared that he "loved it!" and they are looking forward to reading all the cards. This is the Rochester Primary School community at its finest—caring, supportive, and showing what it means to be a family.
We are all thinking of you, Hunter! #WarriorStrong #HuntersIncredibleJourney
