During the month of October, RPS celebrated Disability Awareness Month by reading books that highlight disabilities, hearing from members of our community who shared their personal experiences with disabilities, and coming together to celebrate kindness and inclusion at our “I Choose to Include” Recess. A big thank you to our amazing volunteers for making this event possible! You can check out one of the featured books here: https://youtu.be/NUN52gNEzMU?si=dlIZR-bN9Qo7TQkx

Warrior Staff and Students Show Their Love!
What an incredible outpouring of support for Hunter, one of our second-grade students who is recovering from a major medical procedure this summer.
Our students, coordinated by Mrs. Benner, created a mountain of thoughtful cards, notes, and pictures for Hunter during library time. Our principals were able to deliver all of the well wishes, including a special "We Miss You!" poster.
Hunter's mom shared that he "loved it!" and they are looking forward to reading all the cards. This is the Rochester Primary School community at its finest—caring, supportive, and showing what it means to be a family.
We are all thinking of you, Hunter! #WarriorStrong #HuntersIncredibleJourney

Did you know that Hispanic Heritage Month began on September 15? The date is significant because it's the anniversary of independence for several Latin American countries! The traditions, languages, and unique perspectives enrich our classrooms. Our district is proud to be a place where we can learn from and honor the traditions, achievements, and stories of our Hispanic and Latino families.
